I got some grass.
Growing. Actually, it's been green all winter. Ripe for harvesting...er...mowing.
It was bliss.
Gardening.
It's my retreat.
In my new place, I'm going to have a Japanese garden with my Japanese maple. Ooolala. Can't wait.
By the barn, I'm going to have my antique wheel barrow, my barnwood birdhouse on a shovel. Yep. You heard me. It has a beer bottle opener and antlers and stuff. It's redneck.
In front, my colonial statuary will be marvy bringing back the original character and feel of the Harry Potter House. English garden.
Believe it or not..this will all blend into a magnificent garden retreat.
Each side will be a santuary and a reflection of myselves. Yep. Selves...plural. Greatest thing is I can have tea in the garden and a great conversation with all of us. Bwahahha!

Do you need an assistant? Cause running away is really looking good right about now and a garden retreat sounds like just what I need.
Grass is green where you are at? This time of year in Kansas everything looks pretty desolate. I tend to get in the mood to garden around April when things start looking alive again.
You sound as if you've found your place. And you're going to make it fabulous!
We have to garden this summer. However we get to wait a few months before we can--like 4 to 5.
That is so awesome! Here in Southern Cali, we can garden, pretty much, all year long. It's been raining quite a bit lately, which I totally love. The rain is sooo good for the garden. My daughter brought me some lettuce from her garden and has strawberries, kale and broccoli on the rise.
Good for you Momma Fargo!
Did you ever stop off and tell your gook lady who sharpens your claws and talks funny about you having a man? I like her and will miss reading about her. You need to find a new one.
Pics please :)
Sounds divine.
gardening...oh my, spring is only what, a few months away? :)
I love japanese maples.

Need to read your blog.
Lets see if it works this time. - Less eloquent than what I originally posted, but hey, that's what happens with WP.
