Fargo Time Machine

Today I felt melancholy. I am pretty sure it is a fruit.

Do you ever want to go back in time and start over?

I was thinking I pinpointed a lot of my mistakes to the year 1986.

Do overs.

Too many changes, and you would have never had the Bug, never written a book, never met me...

Hey Momma Fargo;

Yep there are a few instances that I would like to do a "Do over" some of them were in the late 80's and a couple in the early 90's. My decision making ability has gotten better since then.

Mine went much further back.

I'm gonna give 'ya some "learnin" from the "Bobby G. Life Lessons & Gun Owner Bible".
-Regreta are something we ALL have to live with...good or bad.
-Missed chances are just that..."CHANCES".
-Sure that 20/20 HINDSIGHT is always better than what we see today, but what would the outcome be IF we could travel back and get that "do-over"?
Might be OK for the short-term, BUT we can only surmise what the LONG-term effects could be...and it COULD a lot worse.
(yeah, it COULD be better to, but we'll never know...I hear 'ya)
I think I made a lot of MY mistakes on a TUESDAY...lol.

Better to LEARN from the past, even if it would be grand to revisit it.
(oh, the talking to I would give myself!)
Then move FORWARD.
And I deal with such things every single day.
As do many of us.

Stay strong
Stay safe.
And keep the faith, Kiddo!

Better to just

I have thought many times about DO-OVERS. BUT If I did, chances are I probably wouldn't have Judy, my daughter and the grandkids. So I'll take what I have.

Well, then you wouldn't be who you are today. You wouldn't have learned the lessons you made from prior choices and such. I used to think I wish I could go back and change things but now I know its better that I can't.

I can't tell you the number of times I've wanted a do-over. I think I starting going wrong about 1989.

And I *hate* some of it, but I wouldn't be where I am today without all of my mistakes/regrets/fuckups.

But I'd give anything to make a few changes.

are you 50 yet?

it seems to me, the older I get, the more I see my past life as a training tool, rather then a sad party where no one brought balloons...lol and today I cant change the past, but i can change how I react to situations and people around me for the better. sometimes for the worse, but mostly for the better LOL

it really does get better as you get older. either that or you just get more forgetful LOLOLOL
