Yuri's second example comes from yet a different source:
Yuri, although you claimed both these articles are on the "right wing" sites, I believe this is more so, but the last one stinks of "left wing." Can't we all get along with both wings? Like a birdie? LMAO. I crack myself up.
Ok. Again...media is going to blow these isolated incidents out into MARTIAL LAW. It's a turtle takeover. I mean, come on. We are all smarter than that.
From the excerpt below, I think this author really does not have an idea of what goes on behind the scenes at the cop shop.
"The last thing this country needs is gun-toting government bureaucrats with battering rams as they carry out a liberal agenda. Not only is this level of force entirely inappropriate for such government agencies in a free society, but it is almost certain to empower untrained amateurs to make huge mistakes with deadly consequences."
Really? This is a right winger? "Gun-toting?" I mean, all I can say is WHAT THE FUCK do you think cops are going to tote around? Purses? Perhaps we need to go back to what changed the cop world. 911.
This was not a liberal president. It was the era of George Bush. SWAT is not new. It's been around for years. It has just gotten better. We use robots. We use cool things. We have military surplus.
It is not a liberal agenda. It is just police agencies growing with the times through each Presidential administration. And we can thank Homeland Security and grants for our great equipment.
Thank the terrorists for the police changes! Ok. Stepping down from my girl emotional rant.
This is what I have to say about nay-sayers and media. Go behind the scenes.
Then talk to me.
