Donkey or Elephant?

With the reappearance of HOMELAND-the greatest spy series-in my humble opinion...even topping 24, comes CBS with Madame Secretary. I like Tea Leoni.

She's a pretty good in her convictions and foreign policy plays for a Democrat or is she playing a Republican? Who knows? It's the magic question posed from the pilot show.

The pilot was actually very good. I look forward to another.

And The Blacklist returns. Another network great.

Then we have The Walking Dead. Obviously, the winter months are going to find me hooked to the television and books, rather than getting my inside home fixes completed on The Harry Potter House.

Is it appropriate to call out a FAIL before any efforts begin?

Do you have a favorite show?

What books are you going to tackle this winter?

Taking up knitting?

Madame Secretary was good. It was not West Wing (How could it be, without my love Allisan Janney) but it was good.

I hope they don't let the whole conspiracy thing get in the way of the daily political wrangling.

Dagnamitt - I missed Madam Secretary... :( Y'all are gonna have to give me a weeks advance heads-up notice when something good is going to be on the TV in the future! I don't watch commercials, live in hillbilly country and read the yellow rags here about a week behind. Also not even sure what day of the week it is half the time.

Hey Momma Fargo,

I have called "Madam Secretary", the The Establishment attempt to help elect Hillary Clinton after Barack Obama term of office expires and he leaves office in 2017. I am already seeing the establishment democrats turning on him and greasing the skids for Hillary.

a non a Moose-I didn't get into West Wing, although I know it was popular. Allison Janney plays a good role as a politician or evil step monster type.

Tennessee Grammie-you need ON Demand where you can watch it anytime even if you miss it, or record it on DVR through Satellite or xfinity.

Mr. G-Perhaps you are on to something. However, Tea Leoni is no Hillary Clinton. I actually like Tea and she makes some good calls. Plus she has been "boots on the ground, so to speak as a CIA operative." Hillary, on the other hand, has never gotten her hands dirty in the playground...only dirty in politics. I don't think she is going to get elected. First of all...I might get booed off the stage for this, but I don't think our country is ready for a woman president. Secondly, she sucks and is a dishonest, ruthless b****. And she hates cops, so I can't possibly like her.

Gotta agree with Mr. G... This is a conflation to mix up folks about Hillary vs. Madam Secretary...

I'm not home enough to keep up with most of the TV programs, so I get em on DVD and watch them a year late... sigh

My favorite tv show is NCIS and it looks like NCIS New Orleans will be as good. But I WILL NOT watch Madam Secretary because, as everyone mentioned above, it is an attempt to help out Hitlery.

Amazon Prime has the Sapranos and 24.

I'm working my way through those two series. Longmire will be added to the list. My favorite series though is Justified.

Women President? I could vote for Jan Brewer,Condoleezza Rice, Pam Bondi, or Ileana Ros-Lehtinen. We could use a Margaret Thatcher about now.

Coffeypot...Hillary is not going to win. It might be a fear in many of us, but I have faith the people won't vote her in.

RussianBear...Have you tried The Killing? Very good show. I like Homeland much better than 24. I thought it was grittier and more realistic. Just my opinion. I like your choices for woman presidential candidates. Unfortunately, I don't think the Republicans are going to get any of them on the ballot because they are focused on the old school. They need fresh and forward thinking.

The significant other and I watched all of Dexter in about a week, neither of us had ever seen it and we loved it...wish they hadn't cancelled it. We both love The Walking Dead and are counting the days until it starts again.
