The Letter F Is The Most Used Letter Of The Alphabet

Today's post is brought to you by the letters f, u, c, k, and the color black.

I lost my shit yesterday with friends on personal issues involving their kids. Needless to say I am not the most popular person in the room right now. It was unavoidable-especially when you tell me you can't possibly alter your kids' sleep by waking them up 15 more minutes earlier in the mornings so a friend can take them to school for you.  When you ask a friend to take them to school for you because you are in a jam, be grateful and shut the fuck up. Do it on their schedule. They do not exist for your every whim. Your kids need to toughen up. I have never seen such city slickers pampered in all my life to the point of ridiculousness.  My. shit. was. lost. on. that. shit. Just sayin'. I yelled. With a lot of fucks. So fuck that. I have withdrawn my kindness. Fuckers. Yes. I was the friend. Offer expired.

Ok. I feel much better getting that out of my system again.

Where Eagles Soar

If I hear one more time about the glass ceiling that Hillary broke, I am going to 'splode. Does she know how much that cost? It's a big roof. Plus...I wish it were someone more worthy.

Rah, rah for women! I guess. I'm not really doing the Toyota jump (do any of you remember that) nor joining in the femiNazi movements. I know I have a bad attitude. I think it is great we are afforded the same luxuries as men as we should be, but frankly, I think it has been open like that for quite some time. She is just the first one who really wanted to go forward with it. Although not my cup of tea, I do realize what a hard road it is for one to get to that point.

I am of course not against feminism or feminists. I just think we should be equal for certain things like pay and jobs because well, it is what is right. But I don't think we should hate men and I don't think we should minimize ourselves. Does that make any sense? I don't know. I just ramble. Why? Because I am good at it.

I would only want to be president for a day. That would be enough.

The mud continues to sling on either side which makes me pretty much over it.

What's really exciting? If a white woman or man over the age of 45 actually gets hired from a company these days. Seems they all want the new tikes. Fresh meat. Let's see if the new president can fix that. Is there no kudos for experience anymore? I think the codgers have the notion that older folks are hard to train and don't want to learn and buck the system. Where did they get that idea? They don't read my blog.

Instead, let us celebrate this wonderful actor and humanitarian, WWII vet....and so many accomplishments. Please click on the link to read the very nice words about him from those who knew him personally.

Chief Bald Eagle was a star in Dances With Wolves among other films and loved by many. He was considered very kind and just downright wonderful. I would have liked to have met him.

Thank you for your service. Rest in peace, Chief.

Ducking History

I feel and smell like a wet, sweaty sock should appear as after 5 basketball games in Georgia. Ripe. Sweaty. Gross.

It's hot.

And I'm not exaggerating.

I still managed to put out another article on criminaljusticedegree.com without wilting. However, my first published draft was woo-eee and I had to rush in there and edit some things. Heat and brain work don't always mix. This time I talked about some personal commitments to make for today's police work. Seems like common sense, but yet it so easy to be complacent.
Yeah, baby!

In the homeland news, the politics still seem to dominate the headlines despite the more important tragedies across the globe. I really am wary of international travel right now. Not that something might happen anywhere, but gee golly. I just want to lock myself up in a mountain cabin until it is all over and enjoy some peace. Crazy assed people. I mean people is crazy. All people. Everywhere.

And I'm not even talking about the homefront which is bonkers.

It's like America took it's head and put it so far up its own ass that we just look like new version of those teletubby freaks.

There really isn't any reliable news source out there. They are all skewed to an agenda of sorts. Bastards.

The only thing that sparked my attention this morning was on the radio when I heard Michelle Obama say something along the lines that it was hard to wake up every morning in a house that slaves built. OMFG. Seriously. We can't change history. It is where we came from and we can only change the present and sway the future, nothing in the past can be altered unless you are Marty McFly and Doc Brown.

At least appreciate the carpentry and architecture for Pete's sake. It is a beautiful building. Pet the damn thing and pray if all else fails. Fuck.

I guess I am getting sick of people living in the past and trying to knock down the truth of how America came to be and the history of it. History is good and bad, brutal and triumphant. There are victories and failures and lots of what the fucks. But fuck me in the ass...stop trying to cover it up or destroy monuments. Just because there is a statue of a dude doesn't mean we worship him. We just look at what he looked like and maybe some moment in his or her career. Martin Luther King Jr. didn't go around with all this nonsense. He trudged forward and focused on today.

I have never heard of such a thing as a monument movement to destroy historical pieces. Stupid. It's not like Gengis Khan or Hitler where they were rulers or dictators and we salute them every day. Weirdos. It's a freaking statue of a dude on a horse.

I think it feels good just to walk up to him and flip him off, saying, "Yeah, fuck you, dude. I have a lot of black friends. I even was married to one. What do you think about that?"

Oh, I forgot to tell you that I am not always politically correct.

Ok. I think I got that frustration out. Typing is so good for the soul. Emotions just spew freely and later you might have to delete everything, but right now I feel pretty solid.

Things You Should Know

The heat wave is here in the near south. I woke up at 0400 to 76 and by 0500 it was 80. Supah!

I might melt. Sugar melts, you know. Especially when you mix it with humidity. Sticky. Gross. I say this as I wipe sweat from my brow and my bewbs. Ew. Gross. The AC might be on the fritz.

If you venture outside, be safe and stay hydrated.

In the national news, all media outlets are analyzing the Trump train and most of it is very right or very left. Several have nothing positive to say and others are trying to read lips when panning the crowd and candidates when they are not at the podium.

Meanwhile, I find Hillary's choices of VP candidates interesting and at the same time milquetoast. I guess she doesn't want anyone to outshine herself. For some reason, I thought America would be wowed by her selection. Not so sure that is going to happen. I guess we will wait and see.

The Boogie Man series is being revamped and reworked in time for a re-release sometime this year. Two more books in the works, but I must admit progress is slow. I don't know if I can keep up with my life. Sigh.

With all the nonsense and violence in America...the latest from Uniform Stories focuses on a version of the police you may or may not know. Check it out here.

You say it, Bill!

Please pray for our law enforcement. It is damn frightening out there right now. My anxiety level is through the roof. What the erpie derp is wrong with people?

A couple of book reviews are on the way. Thanks to the great weather issue, I should get them finished this weekend. Yippee!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Strong Work

Whew! I had to blow the dust off in here.

I apologize for my absence. With life getting in the way of fun and the recent slaughtering of cops, I pretty much had the wind knocked out of my sails.

Plus...school is starting up and time for me to become a volleyball mom. Sort of. I kind of like the background and don't get too crazy like the other mothers. I submit my baked goods and sit at the top row of the bleachers next to the exit. They think I'm weird. But why, Fargo, don't you want to shake your pom poms and run the concession stand? Yeah. No. But let me donate to your cause and give you sticky stars for being a better mother than me. I love to watch my kiddo and support her all the way, but being a rock star school mom is still a work in progress.

My latest from uniform stories is here. It was a struggle as I went on vacation and rushed, so I apologize profusely for its lack of pizzazz.

Yep.

That's about it.

My life in a paragraph.

Fall races are coming up. I decided to skip the rest of the summer ones because even at 0700 it is hotter than a witch's tit. I ran one in Wyoming heat at 93 degrees and about died. Call me a wuss. I admit it.

So...hopefully I will be in tip top shape for fall shenanigans.

In the meantime...hug a cop. But announce the incoming...or be thrown to the ground. Sudden movements are met with caution nowadays.

Be safe. Be alert. Be vigilant.

WE See You Haters

What do you say on a Monday morning with regard to the news yesterday of more LEO killed by some lunatic?

My heart is heavy. The last two years have created an anxiety in my heart for all police officers out there fighting the dragon. I have never felt this way. It is a very uneasy feeling and drives my thoughts to get back in uniform to work alongside all of you. I leave you today with this list of HONEY-DOs:

1. Please train like a warrior. It is so important to be mentally and physically prepared for battle. You cannot afford to falter.

2. Take care of your home life. Tell them you love them. Keep a clean house. Be prepared for anything. Have your financial ducks in a row. Have a will. Enjoy quality time with loved ones.

3. Be a community unifier. It's my new catch phrase.  Be it.

4. Take care of yourself and have some hobby or sport to occupy some of your free time to clear your mind.

5. Do not infect your heart with hate.

6. Don't procrastinate.

7. Start today.

Put your prayers up, good thoughts, well wishes, and fairy dust for all law enforcement. Many of us wave the American flag and blue line every day. If shit goes down, don't worry...there are many out there who will stand beside you. We have your back.

Be safe. Be vigilant. Be alert.

Support the Blue Line

Yippee Ki-yay Cow Patty!

When the bell tolls...

Gah.

What in the erpie derp is wrong with this world? I have the urge to fight violence with violence. I think we need to gather all the intelligence heads in the world and blast the bad guys. Just my humble opinion as warped as it is. My heart is with France today.

Meanwhile...this happened...on another date and time...
Adorable man and sweet to all us standing out in the heat for the mixer.
I might also say he is one hunk of hot burning love. Whew!

Somewhere in the western part of the states is a Sheriff of 24 County who runs around in Wyoming. For reals.

They might even take things on the road. No, I am not going to be in the show. They didn't need a snarky blond. Dang it.
Yes, we are in love. Nevermind he is married and 67 years old.
Very intelligent, funny, professional, and hot.
I just got done running a race and my hair was nasty and I was melting in the heat.
Yes, I looked like shit. Sigh. He still loves me.

Branch lives! Oh my, does he live.
He lives nicely in a pair of  tight Wranglers.

Perhaps I can convince you all to be Longmire fans some day. And yes, I got pics with Robert Taylor, aka. Walt Longmire. However, they are nakey ones and will not be shared with the world.

Prayers to all in France and the rest of the world. Watch your six. Be vigilant. Be alert.

Isn't It Nice?

It has taken many moons of science, nutrition, and physical fitness for me to finally see a big transformation in myself. Others are now noticing. I have biceps (guns of steel) and my shoulders are really forming nicely. Coach Amanda has helped me with my nutrition and Obi with physical training.

Abs..yes...they are there and not in keg style. You may say...who cares, Fargo?

Well, that is a big deal for a girl.  I have gone down three sizes.

This weekend I had a swimsuit malfunction. Yikes! You're welcome, People Of The Pool.

I went from pulling down a whopping 10 pounds (yes, I was that weak) to 70 pounds in three weeks on one armed shoulder pulls. Pretty sad. BUT...great progress in a short time. I also went for a crunch max challenge and after 1,000...Obi had to tell me shut it down as we did not have time for me to keep going. Yes, my stomach hurt the next day and the next day...but I was happy with that improvement.

Legs? Well, they have always been strong and I do sets with the max weight on the press. We just have to improvise with me and he has created add on weights to the machine. My form on all exercises went from shit show to tolerable and sometimes even good. LOL. Even with free weights which has always been a form challenge for me but very good to do.

My knowledge of each muscle and how it works has also improved. I find it quite fascinating.

But what is the neatest thing?

On July 3, Obi played classic rock and roll all day. Usually he plays the hard stuff. July 3rd is when my dad passed away in 1989. Classic rock and roll was his favorite. Don't I have the nicest trainer in the world? I think so.

When I was 43, I was in the best shape of my life and I am feeling those same accomplishments now even though I am far from that fitness level. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Go me!

It is necessary. My neck feels no pain right now and neither does my shoulder. The numb tingling is gone and my blood work looks marvelous. It means a lot to feel like a human again.

Besides, the world is going to hell in a hand basket and I want to be prepared for anything. I think if I am fit and study war movies, I am good to go. Not really. That was supposed to be my snarky humor attempt.

This usually pertains to my rifle, but hey...it has two meanings. LOL

Yep. Like I said last week...the world is at war around us. We need not stick our heads in the sand any longer. When do we get into the fight? I don't know. I feel it will be soon. Maybe November? I guess it depends on who is elected. I even believe Hillary would go to war before Obama.

Trump has been vetting VPs or persons for his Circle of Peeps including Gov. Pence. Hmm. Weird mixture. I find his choices to be fresh and new...not from the old establishment base, but are they going to be a political BANG or BUST? We shall see. He continues with his brash comments which seem to offend many. As to the Twitter feed which raged a bunch of controversy. Please. Can we pander something else to the people? BUT...well played haters. If you are going to pick on your candidates, definitely find those things which can be twisted and run with it. I think it was a stretch. He has dug holes on plenty of other things but this was a little crazy. Makes for fodder, tho, right?

Hillary still skates by without any consequences given for her actions. Now...is she the only one in history who has violated policy? No. I think most people are concerned that is the only meat to the potatoes. I can't believe they can't at least hold her or her office accountable for failing to react appropriately to Benghazi. Not that she has to be perfect, but ignoring a large threat and demand for assistance really gets under my craw. I really don't like that woman. Can you tell?

So what am I saying? Everything in politics remains the same. I think I picked up at the same place two months ago. Let's just have them duke it out the old fashioned way, shall we?
Yes...remember this game? Well, I improvised it. LOL

Hope you had a very safe 4th of July! And continue on with those American flags. Mine is up all year.
